Responsibilities
Assist the Tax Partner by providing a high level of tax knowledge, understanding and judgement
Assist in the growth and development of our Tax practice
Participate and supervise the preparation of U.S. income tax returns, including specialized areas such as insurance, international taxation, and hedge funds / private equity funds
Supervise tax staff
Qualification
Required
CPA, EA, or legal professional designation (LLM in Tax preferred)
6–8 years of U.S. tax experience
Solid understanding of U.S. federal income tax return preparation for partnerships and corporations
Experience in U.S. corporate tax and/or asset management (hedge funds or private equity)
Familiarity with insurance or international tax is a plus
Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently and collaboratively
Experience managing and mentoring staff
Able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
Flexibility to work extended hours during busy periods
Willingness to relocate to Bermuda (assistance and work permit sponsorship provided)
