Responsibilities

Leading API governance and security best practices in a large enterprise environment

Architecting and deploying MuleSoft APIs using Runtime Fabric (RTF)

Collaborating with internal application teams to enforce custom API rules and standards

Working in a technically advanced environment leveraging Java 8/17, containerization, and modern deployment strategies

Being part of a high-impact team focused on innovation and automation

Candidate will help define, implement, and enforce rules for API quality, ownership, and standardization

High visibility role with cross-functional collaboration across architecture, engineering, and business stakeholders

Must be comfortable with configuration-heavy work typical of MuleSoft's low-code environment

Preference for candidates with experience modernizing legacy Java integrations into MuleSoft services

Required

8+ years of software development experience, including 4+ years in MuleSoft

Strong enterprise Java or Python background

Expertise in DataWeave, including complex data transformations, conditional logic, and performance-optimized mappings

Deep understanding of API governance, standards enforcement, and security practices

Must be comfortable with configuration-heavy work typical of MuleSoft's low-code environment

Preferred

Certified MuleSoft Developer and Platform Architect

Preference for candidates with experience modernizing legacy Java integrations into MuleSoft services
