Responsibilities

Prepares, analyzes and communicates key financial information and provides support to management and other staff members regarding financial reporting and other related issues
Assists with budget preparation and financial planning processes and budget review for compliance and opportunities
Serves as consultant to all levels of management to provide decision support for initiatives, policies and procedures
Completes special projects and duties including providing necessary research, forecasting and conflict resolution
Other duties as assigned

Required

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or related field such as Math, Computer Science or Data Analytics
A High School diploma/GED and four years of experience may substitute the experience and education requirements
An Associate's degree and two years of experience may substitute the experience and education requirements
Requires critical thinking skills, attention to detail, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision
Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action
Ability to complete basic analytical, consultative and information support through analysis and report preparation
Awareness of key performance indicators, cash flow analysis, product line analysis and proposal development
Ability to communicate and exchange accurate information
Ability to perform work in a stationary position for extended periods
Ability to work with physical records or operate a computer or other office equipment

Preferred

Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Management Account (CMA) certification preferred
One year of Accounting, Finance, Healthcare, Investment Banking or Management Consulting experience preferred
In some locations, ability to travel throughout the hospital system
In some locations ability to move up to 25 lbs
