Responsibilities
Serve as primary legal counsel for the organization
Advise leadership on employment law, workplace policies, and compliance
Support PEO relationships and employment-related agreements
Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, vendor agreements, and internal policies
Guide compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws
Support employee-related matters, investigations, and policy interpretation
Coordinate with outside counsel as needed
Provide practical, risk-aware legal guidance aligned with business needs
Qualification
Required
JD from an accredited law school
Active Florida bar license in good standing
Strong background in employment and HR-related law
Excellent contract drafting and negotiation skills
Strong judgment and communication skills
Preferred
Experience with PEOs or similar employment structures
