Responsibilities
Act as a senior subject matter expert for investment, market risk, and credit risk systems, including asset-liability and portfolio management platforms
Lead business analysis efforts for large, cross-functional initiatives, including defining scope, objectives, and success criteria
Analyze business processes, data flows, rules, and controls to identify gaps and improvement opportunities
Translate complex business requirements into clear functional and technical specifications
Partner with architects, developers, testers, and project managers to ensure solutions meet business and technical standards
Guide integration strategies across multiple investment platforms and data sources
Support testing strategies and validate solutions against business requirements
Provide technical leadership and mentorship to other analysts
Facilitate communication between business stakeholders and technology delivery teams
Identify opportunities to improve data quality, integrity, and operational efficiency
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience
8+ years of experience designing or supporting complex enterprise technology solutions
5+ years of experience working with investment data and data management platforms
5+ years of exposure to investment management systems across front-, middle-, and back-office functions
5+ years of experience performing data analysis across large, multi-source datasets
Preferred
Advanced proficiency with Excel and strong working knowledge of SQL or Oracle query tools
Experience with data-centric architectures, time-series data, and data integration patterns
Strong understanding of investment management concepts, asset-liability management, and risk across multiple asset classes, including derivatives
Ability to influence system design and architecture, including non-functional requirements
Experience documenting ETL processes and overseeing detailed technical specifications
Ability to quickly adapt to new tools, platforms, and technologies
Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail and the ability to assess broader business impact
Excellent written, verbal, and presentation communication skills
Proven ability to lead through influence and mentor less-experienced team members
Comfortable working independently while collaborating across diverse teams
Proactive communicator who raises risks, dependencies, and opportunities early
Capable of simplifying complex technical topics for non-technical audiences
Able to operate effectively in time-sensitive, high-priority situations
Self-directed and accountable, with a strong sense of ownership
Collaborative team player who contributes beyond individual responsibilities
