Director of Wholesale Sales
Global Recruiters of Covington (GRN) is a fast-growing, design-forward consumer brand operating across various channels. They are seeking a high-impact Director of Wholesale Sales to lead the national growth strategy and enhance their wholesale organization, focusing on both strategy and execution.
Responsibilities
Own and execute the annual wholesale growth strategy aligned with revenue and profitability targets
Lead, coach, and develop inside, outside, and independent sales representatives
Drive performance through KPIs, dashboards, forecasting, and ongoing training
Personally manage and grow strategic key accounts
Partner cross-functionally with Marketing, Product, and Operations to support go-to-market success
Oversee trade shows, market events, and brand-building initiatives
Analyze performance using CRM, ERP, and reporting tools
Monitor competitive trends and market dynamics to inform growth strategy
Build annual budgets and manage monthly and quarterly forecasts
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
5+ years of progressive sales experience
3+ years in a sales leadership role
Proven wholesale sales leader with a player-coach mindset
Strategic thinker with strong executional discipline
Exceptional communicator who can influence across teams and customers
Highly analytical and metrics-driven
Track record of building and scaling multi-channel wholesale organizations
Collaborative partner across Marketing, Operations, and Product
Preferred
Experience in consumer goods, specialty retail, or omnichannel distribution strongly preferred
