Responsibilities
Lead all aspects of financial accounting, reporting, and month-end close
Oversee preparation and submission of government grant and program filings, including cost reports
Manage, train, and develop the accounting team, ensuring timely and accurate deliverables
Maintain strong internal controls, data integrity, and compliance with applicable regulations
Partner cross-functionally with HR, IT, Operations, and executive leadership to align financial goals
Support external financial and Single Audit processes
Drive process improvement initiatives and ensure consistency across systems and workflows
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Accounting required
7+ years of progressive accounting experience, including supervisory roles
Strong technical knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, and internal controls
Background in government grant administration and compliance
Advanced Excel proficiency
