Responsibilities

Create and optimize coordinate measuring machine (CMM) routines using Calypso software to support production and quality assurance needs
Use CMM technology to verify dimensions and tolerances of intricate components
Review engineering documentation to ensure manufactured parts align with geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T) requirements
Carry out inspections at various stages of production, including initial, in-process, and final checks, to confirm adherence to quality benchmarks
Record and communicate inspection outcomes, highlighting any deviations or non-conformances
Work closely with engineering and manufacturing teams to troubleshoot quality concerns and drive corrective measures
Oversee the upkeep and calibration of CMM equipment to maintain measurement accuracy
Guide and assist team members in understanding CMM operations and interpreting GD&T standards
Contribute to ongoing efforts aimed at refining inspection processes and elevating overall product quality

Zeiss CALYPSO programmingGD&T knowledgeTechnical drawing interpretationProblem-solvingAttention to detailCommunication skills

Required

High School Diploma + 10 years relevant experience, or Associate's Degree + 6 years
4+ years' experience with programming in Zeiss CALYPSO
Strong knowledge of GD&T and technical drawing interpretation
Excellent problem-solving, attention to detail, and communication skills
Ability to sit for long periods and work in a flexible, team-oriented environment
