LHH is working with a fast-growing, multi-entity organization to identify an Interim Controller. This role will lead accounting operations, cash management, financial reporting, and data integrity across the organization, focusing on stabilizing and modernizing core accounting processes.

Responsibilities

Own the monthly close process and accelerate close timelines by strengthening procedures, reconciliations, and internal controls

Oversee balance sheet integrity, including intercompany accounting, lease accounting accuracy, audits, and renewal tracking

Lead restructuring of the accounts payable function, including workflow design, operating model evaluation, and standardized approval and payment processes

Improve AP visibility through reporting, dashboards, and clear process documentation

Own treasury operations, including cash visibility, liquidity management, bank account consolidation, signer governance, and cash sweep processes

Build and maintain a rolling 13-week cash flow forecast

Prepare and deliver accurate, timely financial reporting for leadership and lenders, including MD&A and addback analysis

Own finance reporting strategy, including dashboard development and data integrations across financial and payroll systems

Build and maintain revenue, margin, and accounts receivable validation reporting

Partner with revenue operations on AR, collections, performance analysis, and revenue centralization initiatives

Lead credit balance investigation and resolution efforts

Oversee payroll accounting, reconciliations, process improvements, and automation initiatives

Lead and support the accounting team, rebalance workloads to support growth and acquisitions, and evaluate outsourcing or automation for transactional accounting functions
