Responsibilities

Design for all phases of plumbing projects for large commercial / industrial facilities
Perform design calculations, sketches, technical comparisons, and similar technical work as required by assignment
Research code issues and design options; document findings for Project Engineers and/or Project Managers
Review drawings, plans, technical specifications, contract documents, and estimates from vendors, clients, engineers, and architects; recommend necessary changes

Qualification

Plumbing design experienceDesign calculationsEngineering degreeCode researchTechnical specifications review

Required

Relevant engineering degree: Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering Technology, Civil Engineering, Architectural Engineering, Construction Engineering, or related field
Commercial / industrial plumbing design experience: water supply, sanitary drainage and waste systems, stormwater management, natural gas piping, specialized systems (medical gas, lab waste, grease interceptors), etc
