Responsibilities

Lead, supervise, and coordinate field personnel on wastewater treatment plant construction, upgrades, or pipeline projects

Oversee daily field operations including installation, excavation, structural concrete, mechanical assemblies, and system tie-ins

Develop, maintain, and update project schedules in Primavera P6, including baseline schedules, look-ahead schedules, and progress reporting

Monitor and enforce compliance with project specifications, drawings, QA/QC requirements, and safety regulations

Coordinate with project managers, engineers, inspectors, and subcontractors to ensure work progresses efficiently

Conduct daily toolbox talks, safety briefings, and site inspections to maintain a safe working environment

Track labor, equipment, and material quantities; provide daily reports and documentation

Identify field issues, propose solutions, and support change management processes

Ensure project milestones are met while maintaining productivity and budget targets

Required

6-15 years of experience as a Superintendent in wastewater, water treatment, or heavy civil construction

Strong proficiency in Primavera P6, including schedule creation, updating, reporting, and resource tracking

Hands-on experience with wastewater processes, structural concrete, piping systems, mechanical installations, and civil site work

Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, P&IDs, and construction specifications

Excellent leadership, communication, and field-coordination skills

Demonstrated commitment to safety and knowledge of OSHA requirements

Valid driver's license; ability to work full-time onsite

Preferred

Experience working on large municipal or industrial wastewater treatment plant projects

Knowledge of startup, commissioning, and system testing procedures

Previous experience managing union or mixed labor environments
