Insight Global is seeking an Application Support Engineer to join a leading oil & gas company in Oklahoma City. This role focuses on supporting and optimizing geoscience and drilling applications critical to exploration and drilling operations. You will troubleshoot issues, manage IT change processes, and collaborate with technical and business teams to ensure seamless application performance.

Responsibilities

Administer and support applications such as Geographix, Kingdom, Interactive Petrophysics (IP), and Drilling Schedule Optimizer (DSO)
Troubleshoot and resolve application issues
Implement updates, patches, and system modifications following IT change management processes
Partner with business stakeholders to improve workflows and provide user training
Perform data analysis using SQL

Required

5+ years in systems analysis, application administration, or IT support
Experience with geoscience/drilling applications (Geographix, Kingdom, IP, DSO)
Proficiency with BMC Remedyforce or similar ticketing systems
Strong understanding of IT change management
Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills

Preferred

Experience with Petrel and StarSteer
