This temporary role is designed for a finance professional with expertise in fund accounting, NAV calculations, and financial reporting, focusing on month-end and year-end close, financial statement reconciliation, and P&L allocations.

Responsibilities

Month-End & Year-End Close: Assist in financial statement preparation, ensuring GAAP and regulatory compliance
NAV & P&L Calculations: Calculate Net Asset Value (NAV), profit and loss allocations, and fund performance metrics
General Ledger Management: Maintain and reconcile the general ledger for accurate financial reporting
Investor Reporting: Prepare capital account statements, reconciliations, and fund activity reports
Capital Transactions: Support capital calls, distributions, and investor allocations with accurate documentation
Audit & Compliance: Assist auditors in financial reviews and ensure regulatory adherence

Required

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required
Minimum 5+ years of fund accounting experience in private equity, hedge funds, or asset management
Strong understanding of GAAP, NAV calculations, and financial reporting standards
Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines
Familiarity with investment structures, fund operations, and regulatory compliance
Proficiency in Excel, fund accounting software, and financial reporting tools

Preferred

CPA or CFA certification is a plus
Advent Systems experience preferred
