Responsibilities

Review drawings, specifications, and bid documents to prepare detailed cost estimates for plumbing systems

Quantify materials, labor, and equipment requirements using takeoff software and estimation tools

Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure complete and accurate bids

Identify value engineering opportunities and evaluate cost-saving alternatives

Maintain current knowledge of plumbing materials, installation methods, and market pricing

Assist with bid reviews, proposal development, and project budgeting

Required

7+ years of experience as a Plumbing Estimator in commercial, industrial, or institutional construction

Proficiency in estimating software (e.g., Bluebeam, Trimble, or similar)

Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills

Ability to manage multiple estimates and deadlines simultaneously

Preferred

Experience with MEP estimating is a plus
