Responsibilities

Responsibility for the creation of Purchase Requisitions that pertain to the acquisition of Special Tooling
Becoming the Subject Matter Expert on how best to align with SCM for non-flight hardware procurement items
Developing Matrix reporting to show real time status of Special Tooling during the fabrication phase
Working with vendors on requirements as outlined within Tooling & Packaging drawings
Becoming the Subject Matter Expert on Process Improvements to increase productivity
Leading rapid response strategies and system improvements for challenging procurement scenarios
Creating a vendors capabilities matrix for team to use when placing orders with outside vendors

Required

Typically Requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and a minimum of 2 years of prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field
Experience with vendor management

Preferred

Master's degree in engineering, business, finance, management, supply chain, or related discipline
Professional certifications (e.g., PMP, CPIM, CPSM)
Experience with ITAR compliance, licenses, and agreements (TAA, DSP-5, DSP-73)
Experience as a cost account manager or in material sales/EAC analysis
Strong communication skills with the ability to influence and collaborate cross-functionally in a matrix environment
Experience in Export/Import Compliance for international suppliers and partners
Strong analytical, planning and resource management skills
