Criminal Justice Specialist/Invest II

Responsibilities
Provide public school units in their regions with technical assistance, training and resources needed in relations to school safety
Assist public school units in identifying and implementing evidence-based programs in school safety
Develop and maintain relationships that result in collaborative efforts and information sharing to promote the CFSS
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree from an appropriately accredited institution and two years of administrative and/or technical experience in criminal justice or law enforcement as it relates to the area of assignment, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Preferred
Documented experience working in school safety within a school environment
Documented experience working in criminal justice and/or with law enforcement procedure, terminology, and policies and practices
Documented experience interpreting and/or applying, and/or communicating, statutory regulations
Documented experience conducting trainings
