Responsibilities

Directs day-to-day laboratory operations while ensuring compliance with safety regulations and best practices
Works with, adapts, and installs scientific equipment in research laboratories
Develops complex projects and procedures independently
Manages inventory and equipment and performs budget functions
Writes grant applications and manuscripts independently
Oversees day-to-day manufacturing operations within the GMP facility, ensuring compliance with FDA, IND, and FACT requirements
Responsible for developing and implementing billing processes for services rendered
Walking to and from locations within hospital and around campus
Standing and sitting for long periods of time at the bench
Reading small print on tubes, cryovials, and labels
Lifting up to 30 pounds
Bending and lifting as required
Able to use hands to perform experiments

Required

Bachelor's Degree
7 years of experience
