Responsibilities
Manage and review complex business, partnership, and individual tax engagements, ensuring high-quality, compliant deliverables
Deliver strategic tax planning and structuring guidance for closely held businesses, partnerships, and high-net-worth clients
Identify and pursue opportunities with existing and prospective clients; network within the community and industry groups to expand visibility and the client base
Serve as a trusted advisor, building deep, long-term client relationships based on expertise, responsiveness, and results
Supervise, coach, and develop managers, seniors, and staff, fostering both technical excellence and leadership readiness
Partner with firm leadership to execute regional growth plans, expand service offerings, and enhance profitability
Contribute to process efficiency, technology integration, and the advancement of firm best practices
Work with colleagues across the firm’s network to support multi-location clients and platform-wide initiatives
Assist clients with transactions, entity restructuring, and multi-state compliance as advisory services expand
Qualification
Required
Active CPA license required
8–12 years of progressive public accounting experience with deep expertise in taxation
Proven success in client relationship management and business development
Strong technical proficiency in federal and state tax law, including multi-state experience
Excellent leadership, communication, and project management skills
Entrepreneurial mindset and enthusiasm for practice growth and long-term equity-like participation
