Responsibilities
Design, implement, and manage AWS cloud infrastructure for enterprise applications
Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform and/or AWS CloudFormation
Configure and manage AWS services including EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, VPC, IAM, Route 53, and CloudFront
Ensure high availability, scalability, security, and resilience of cloud systems
Monitor and optimize performance and cost using CloudWatch, Trusted Advisor, and related tools
Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using AWS CodePipeline, Jenkins, or similar tools
Deploy and manage containerized workloads using Docker, ECS, or EKS
Troubleshoot and resolve complex cloud infrastructure issues
Apply AWS security best practices, including IAM, encryption, and compliance controls
Support cloud migration and modernization initiatives
Implement backup, disaster recovery, and capacity planning strategies
Document cloud architectures, configurations, and operational processes
Qualification
Required
10+ years of experience in AWS Cloud Engineering or DevOps roles
Strong hands-on experience with core AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, VPC, IAM)
Proven experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform and/or CloudFormation)
Experience building and supporting CI/CD pipelines
Hands-on experience with container technologies (Docker, ECS, EKS)
Proficiency in Python, Bash, or similar scripting languages
Strong understanding of AWS networking (VPCs, subnets, security groups, NACLs)
Experience implementing AWS security best practices (IAM policies, KMS, Secrets Manager)
Excellent troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills
Preferred
AWS Certifications (Solutions Architect, SysOps Administrator, or DevOps Engineer)
Experience with multi-account AWS environments and landing zone architectures
Experience supporting large-scale, production cloud environments
Background in cloud migrations and modernization projects
