Responsibilities
Designed, developed, and maintained PowerBuilder 12.5+ applications supporting IRMS legacy tax and revenue management systems
Provided analysis, enhancement, and production support for IRMS during modernization and phased rollouts under Project Lighthouse
Developed and implemented interfaces between GenTax and IRMS systems to ensure continuity of tax processing operations
Created clear, maintainable, and well-documented code , following enterprise coding standards and best practices
Utilized Azure DevOps / Team Foundation Server (TFS) for version control, work item tracking, and application lifecycle management
Worked extensively with Oracle 19c and MySQL databases, including SQL development, performance tuning, and data validation
Participated in Agile/Scrum ceremonies , including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, backlog grooming, and retrospectives
Collaborated with business analysts, team leads, and other application teams to analyze requirements and deliver functional solutions
Contributed to technical design, architectural discussions, and customer requirement sessions for PowerBuilder applications
Demonstrated strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and a results-driven mindset while working independently and in team environments
Qualification
Required
7+ years of hands-on experience developing, supporting, and maintaining enterprise-scale legacy applications using PowerBuilder 12.5+
Proven expertise in IRMS tax processing systems
Experience with relational databases (Oracle 19c/MySQL)
Experience in Agile delivery environments
Strong background in maintaining mission-critical revenue management systems
Experience developing system interfaces
Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams during large-scale modernization initiatives
Ability to create clear, maintainable, and well-documented code following enterprise coding standards and best practices
Experience utilizing Azure DevOps / Team Foundation Server (TFS) for version control, work item tracking, and application lifecycle management
