They are seeking an Associate Director for Ports & Harbours to lead a specialist team in delivering consultancy services related to maritime risk and navigation safety, while driving strategic expansion and strengthening client relationships.

Lead and grow the Ports & Harbours Team

Guide the pipeline of opportunities

Strengthen key client relationships

Support the delivery of high-quality, science-led consulting across the UK and internationally

Qualification

Required

Technical proficiency – evidenced by an established track record of providing navigation risk and marine safety projects in ports and harbours

Market knowledge and key customer contacts in the marine infrastructure development and marine safety governance sector

Preferred

Strong project management skills and track record of managing projects on time and in budget

Familiarity with project management procedures and protocols, including experience with quality assurance, the checking and approval of proposals, and reports

Excellent analytical and communication skills and techniques to provide advice and engage clients, project teams and stakeholders

Experience of management and guiding teams

Leadership of teams on major projects

Chartered membership of a relevant professional organisation
