Responsibilities

Develop code supporting aircraft system software
Interface with Naval Air Station Patuxent River headquarters, contractor personnel, and other government activities for the program
Conduct technical reviews to determine acceptability of changes to software
Advise on technical issues
Monitor research, analysis, design, development, test, and manufacturing operations
Provide technical oversight into the Program Increment (PI) priority workloads
Review and provide technical inputs on proposed changes to processes and software development plans
Function as a member of an integrated team

Required

Must have at least two years' experience developing software in C++
Must have at least two years' experience working in a Linux environment
Must have at least two years' experience using Jira and Confluence
Must have at least two years' experience working with Git, Bitbucket, or Mattermost
Must have at least two years' experience performing unit testing
Must have at least two years' experience communicating effectively with software program leaders, engineers/developers, and stakeholders
Must have at least two years' experience performing and managing software engineering and development efforts
Must have at least two years' experience working with software requirements, design, process management, open architecture principles, integration, and test
An Interim Secret Clearance is required for this position
US Citizenship is required to obtain a clearance

Preferred

Experience using Cameo and DOORS
Experience with RHEL 9 or 10
Knowledge of AIDA
Familiarity with Weapon System Open Architecture (WOSA) and MIL-STD-1553
Experience with Agile development methodologies
BS in Engineering Field (Computer Science, Data Science or Operations Research Preferred)
