10+ years expEntegee is seeking a Supplier Quality Engineer responsible for managing supplier quality for MV and LV electrical systems and components. The role involves evaluation, qualification, auditing, and ongoing performance improvement of suppliers to ensure compliance with specifications.

Responsibilities
Perform supplier oversight and product inspections for project execution to ensure compliance with specifications (visual, dimensional, weld, coating, traceability, quality records, FAT, etc.)
Execute and document Functional Acceptance Testing (FAT) at suppliers, including transformer and MCC tests and other electrical equipment
Implement and maintain a supplier audit program based on supplier risk categorization, conducting audits in accordance with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001
Identify supplier nonconformances, initiate containment actions, and drive corrective and preventive actions to closure
Analyze supplier quality performance, support supplier evaluation, and initiate supplier quality improvement and technical development programs
Lead or support root cause analysis and define risk mitigation measures at suppliers
Prepare and issue periodic supplier quality performance reports and track the effectiveness of improvement actions
Support development and maintenance of a global, quality-assured, cost-effective supply base for MV and LV electrical systems and components
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical Engineering or similar discipline (or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience)
10+ years of professional experience in supplier quality management, quality management, or engineering related to MV and LV electrical systems and components
Experience performing supplier evaluation, qualification, and product/process qualification
Experience with technical supplier development to build and maintain a quality-assured, cost-effective supply base
Extensive knowledge of NEC, NFPA, IEEE, UL, and IEC standards
Extensive knowledge and experience in auditing to ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001
Ability and willingness to travel domestically and internationally up to 35% of the time
Preferred
ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 Lead Auditor certification
Experience working with suppliers of MV/LV electrical equipment such as MCCs, switchgear, switchboards, panel boards, UPS systems, transformers, static excitation systems, static frequency converters, batteries and charging systems, E-houses, cables, and bus ducting
Experience generating and interpreting supplier quality performance metrics and reports
Background in functional and routine testing of MV/LV equipment (e.g., transformer routine and type tests, MCC production and type tests)
