American Credit Acceptance is seeking a Team Lead for Specialty Operations to assist in transitioning new associates into the department through coaching and supervision. The role involves managing manual letters, researching accounts, processing deceased accounts, and overseeing control reports.

Responsibilities

Assists agents in transition from training to a live environment

Assists in answering account questions with associates

Conducts coaching side by sides to identify areas of deficiency or strength

Holds knowledge sessions to assure clarity and content of training materials

Could fill in for a supervisor temporarily while on PTO

Could assist in side by side and coaching opportunities for larger groups within a supervisor’s span of control

Works multiple reports through RDN, RMS, and Spectrum

Communication with agents/departments when issues are identified to ensure corrections required are completed and that corrective actions defined and maintained

Documenting activities, findings, resolutions, etc. to ensure a record of issues is maintained

Work directly with repossession vendors and auctions

Send and upload appropriate documents and forms

Review system codes to ensure reporting accuracy

Acts as a backup for letter grading, when needed

Required

1+ years of experience applicable to the department

Demonstrates excellent communication, leadership and coaching abilities
