Responsibilities

Lead and mentor a team of developers and analysts across strategic and operational initiatives
Act as a hands-on technical expert, providing guidance on architecture, performance, and development best practices
Oversee end-to-end application development using the Microsoft development stack, SQL Server, Informatica, and other core technologies
Partner with business leaders to align application development with strategic priorities
Manage vendor relationships and coordinate with external consultants
Continuously assess application performance and identify opportunities for retirement or modernization
Define and enforce coding standards, technical documentation, and process improvements
Maintain high user satisfaction by proactively engaging stakeholders, offering training, and ensuring technology solutions deliver value
Support recruitment, budgeting, career development, and performance evaluation for the application development team

Required

10+ years in IT, including 7+ years in application development and 5+ years leading development teams
Expertise in .NET (C#, ASP.NET MVC), SQL Server, Informatica, TFS/Azure DevOps, HTML5, JavaScript, and related technologies
Strong background in project management, particularly within Agile or rapid development environments
Proven leadership skills, business acumen, and the ability to inspire high-performance teams
Ability to balance strategic planning with hands-on execution
Excellent communication, relationship-building, and conflict-resolution skills

Preferred

Bachelor's degree preferred (or equivalent experience)
