Responsibilities
Perform residential code compliance activities related to the City's zoning, sign maintenance and nuisance codes and ordinances, including code interpretation, site visits and investigations
Qualification
Required
A High School Diploma or GED
1 year of code enforcement-experience specifically relating to investigating nuisance, zoning and sign codes or technical inspections related to construction, landscaping or other related field
2 years of experience involving work in meeting and communicating with the public
A valid Driver's License with acceptable driving record
Any equivalent combination of experience and training which provides the knowledge and abilities necessary to perform the work
Preferred
Front line or direct customer service experience
Experience with case management software
Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing
