Dole Fresh Vegetables is a leader in the food production industry, producing ready-to-eat salads and related products. They are seeking a Packaging Machine Operator to operate packaging equipment safely and efficiently while maintaining quality and cleanliness in the production area.

Food Processing

Responsibilities

Operate Hayssen packaging or tray line equipment

Able to work around machinery and equipment

Perform forming tube changeovers (7”,8”,9”, and 10” - 2lbs, 3lbs, and 5lbs)

Maintain a clean area

Requires extensive problem-solving skills

Paperwork duties

Control overfill

Minimize film waste

Computer Entries

Must be capable of performing quality checks, product changeover, re-supplying of film

Employees adhere to all policies, practices and SOP’s related to producing a Safe Quality Food (SQF)

Ensure the integrity and continued operation of the food safety system in the event of organizational or personnel changes within the company or associated facilities

Support special projects and other duties as assigned

Operate Hayssen packaging equipment in a safe and responsible manner following the Packaging Machine Operator SOP

Operate Hayssen packaging or tray line equipment

Able to work around machinery and equipment

Physical requirement: Ability to bend, stoop and lift up to 50Lbs

Attention to detail

Able to work in a cold temperature (35F)

Ability to work overtime including weekends as required

Must be able to work in a fast-paced production environment
