Senior Network Routing Design Engineer X4
Seneca Resources Company, LLC is seeking a Senior Network Routing Design Engineer to assist the Government Lead with daily engineering responsibilities. This role focuses on the design, integration, security, and optimization of complex LAN/BAN/WAN environments supporting mission-critical USMC infrastructure.

Responsibilities
Assist the Government Lead with daily network engineering duties across LAN, BAN, and WAN environments
Administer, troubleshoot, and optimize LAN/BAN/WAN infrastructure, including scheduled conversions and cutovers
Perform capacity and demand management in accordance with USMC Circuit Management processes
Support traffic analysis and traffic shaping design initiatives
Monitor and optimize directory services replication speed
Design secure access to internal and external web content using HTTP and HTTPS
Design and implement proxy and caching solutions, including URL/category-based filtering, policy scheduling, and automated updates from Government-approved providers
Develop and integrate identity and access management requirements and monitor security updates in compliance with Government policies
Develop, maintain, and manage IP addressing schemes and address management
Design, develop, and integrate routing using BGP, EIGRP, OSPF, and VRF technologies
Implement network security solutions utilizing VRF, MPLS, ACLs, IPSEC, and Layer 2 VPNs
Oversee Rights Management Services for administrators, users, and groups
Design anti-malware inspection and HTTP/HTTPS inspection solutions
Design application networking ports and protocols, Information Assurance (IA), routing, and LAN architecture
Integrate PKI certificates and network accounts to support two-factor authentication across all Active Directory domain account types, eliminating password-based authentication
Design and integrate multi-vendor networking solutions using Cisco, Juniper, Brocade, and related technologies
Support performance, design, configuration, and testing of large-scale enterprise networks
Support Navy, Marine Corps, DISA, and Joint interoperability efforts across network design and implementation
Qualification
Required
Active Secret clearance required
10+ years of experience designing and supporting complex, large-scale enterprise networks
Professional-level networking certification (CCNP Service Provider, JNCIP, or equivalent experience)
ITIL v3 Foundation certification
Must have Arista and or SDWAN experience
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, Business, or a related field
Experience supporting DoD environments, including USMC, Navy, DISA, or Joint networks
