Responsibilities
Manage a team of attorneys and legal assistants in handling foreclosure cases from initiation to completion
Provide guidance and supervision to ensure efficient and accurate processing of foreclosure files
Conduct legal research and analysis to stay current on relevant laws, regulations, and industry trends impacting non-judicial foreclosure proceedings
Draft and review legal documents, including complaints and motions
Interface with clients, opposing counsel, and third-party vendors to facilitate communication and resolve issues effectively
Monitor and track foreclosure timelines, deadlines, and milestones to ensure timely resolution of cases
Provide training and mentorship to junior staff members
Maintain accurate and organized case files, documentation, and correspondence in accordance with firm policies and regulatory standards
Qualification
Required
Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
Minimum of 5 years of experience practicing law with a focus on finance, real estate, or representation of financial institutions in real estate related matters with court room experience preferred
Maintain an active membership in good standing with the Florida Bar
Proven experience in default, creditors' rights, and foreclosure law
Knowledge of FDCPA, RESPA, TILA, as well as any applicable state and federal debt collection and real property law a plus
Strong analytical, research, and communication skills
Leadership abilities with a track record of effectively managing teams
Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Commitment to upholding ethical standards and providing high-quality legal services
A successful candidate must pass a background check and be able to provide two professional references
