Responsibilities

Develop and configure Appian applications according to technical specifications

Implement interfaces, process models, decision rules, and integrations

Assist in RPA solution development to complement Appian's native capabilities

Perform unit testing and troubleshooting for developed components

Collaborate with the senior developer and architect to implement technical designs

Document technical specifications and development approaches

Participate in code reviews and quality assurance processes

Support knowledge transfer from Appian Professional Services

Work closely with cross-functional team members including the Product Owner and QA resources

Mentor junior resources as they develop Appian skills

Required

2-4 years of Appian development experience

Appian Associate Developer certification (minimum)

Experience with Appian expression language, process models, and interface design

Familiarity with Appian integrations (REST APIs, web services, database connections)

Understanding of software development lifecycle and best practices

Knowledge of agile development methodologies

Good communication and collaboration skills

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field

Preferred

Appian Senior Developer certification

Experience with RPA tools (UiPath, Blue Prism, or Automation Anywhere)

Familiarity with AI/ML implementation concepts

Experience in media, advertising, or telecommunications industries
