Tax Verification Associate
Thomson Reuters is seeking a Tax Verification Associate to verify and input tax data submitted by accounting firms for the purpose of filing tax returns. The role involves utilizing in-house software and ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of tax document preparation for clients.

Responsibilities
Responsible for verifying and inputting tax data submitted by accounting firms for the purpose of filing tax returns
Utilize an in-house software called 1040SCAN that utilizes a new technology called Optical Character Recognition (OCR) and verify efficiency of the software's operations
Constantly focusing on details and accuracy of the software's functionality to successfully prepare tax documents for clients
Help maximize efficiency in the 1040SCAN software to facilitate paperless tax workflow for clients
Input any missing information into the software by looking into the company database for comparison
Qualification
Required
Basic computer skills and knowledge
Must be able to type 50wpm
Have an eye for detail
Must be comfortable sitting in a chair for multiple hours in a row
