Responsibilities
Design, configure, and implement applications using Guidewire Jutro in alignment with enterprise architecture and UI/UX standards
Develop and maintain reusable front-end components using React, Angular, or other modern frameworks
Integrate Jutro applications with Guidewire Cloud services, REST APIs, and microservices
Ensure applications meet performance, accessibility, security, and compliance requirements
Conduct code reviews and provide mentorship to junior engineers
Collaborate with architects, product owners, and QA to deliver features on time within Agile ceremonies
Contribute to continuous improvement of CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and deployment practices
Maintain awareness of Guidewire platform updates, Jutro enhancements, and industry best practices
Qualification
Required
8+ years of front-end development experience with JavaScript/TypeScript
Hands-on experience with Guidewire Jutro (component configuration, theming, application development)
Proficiency in React, Angular, or equivalent frameworks
Experience with Guidewire PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, or ClaimCenter integrations
Strong understanding of API integration, microservices, and service-oriented architectures
Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud-based deployments
Preferred
Experience working in regulated industries (Insurance and/or Financial Services)
Familiarity with agile delivery methodologies and value-stream based organization structures
Technical leadership and mentoring skills
Effective communication across technical and non-technical stakeholder
