Confidential company is seeking a Complete Seat Engineer to contribute to the design and development of automotive seating systems. The role involves a thorough understanding of engineering concepts, proficiency in CATIA, and the ability to manage design documentation and validation plans.

Responsibilities

Thorough knowledge of engineering design & development concepts of automotive complete Seating system

Very good proficiency in CATIA V5/V6

Experience in design of Seat and seat components e.g., Foam Headrest, seat plastic, Cables, Lumber and trim cover

Relevant experience in Master Sections, Vehicle Integration, Vehicle packaging, Concept creation, assembly processes of various Seat parts

Knowledge and understanding of Tooling and seat manufacturing processes

Prepare and maintain engineering release and change documentation

Ability to perform Complete Seat packaging study of seating components

Working knowledge of regulatory and certification requirements for seating system (FMVSS regulations)

Maintain and develop Design Validation Plans (DVP), and Design Failure Mode Analysis (DFMEA)

Good knowledge of seating system and component manufacturing processes
