Responsibilities

Adhere to all safety and quality standards and guidelines and repair and/or report unsafe conditions, near misses, and/or injuries in a timely manner
Ensure finished goods are transported and loaded in a safe and efficient manner
Maintain inventory storage areas, including ownership of cycle counts and/or wall-to-wall inventory counts as needed
Leverage technology as needed to stay informed (ex: daily review of email, production schedules, troubleshooting guides, job aides, etc.)
Assist Packaging Operators with Palletizer maintenance and troubleshooting
Provide back-up coverage for raw material unloading and transport for the Packaging and Process Departments
Complete routine and preventative maintenance for area equipment
Ensure all area housekeeping tasks are completed and workplace organization is maintained
Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment to safely transport finished goods and raw materials
Load and secure trailers with finished products for outbound shipments following established procedures
Unload raw materials from delivery trucks, inspect for damage or discrepancies, and store appropriately
Assist with the operation of palletizing equipment, ensuring proper stacking and wrapping of finished goods
Conduct daily and weekly cycle counts to reconcile inventory discrepancies and ensure accurate records
Monitor equipment performance, perform basic maintenance, and promptly report malfunctions
Implement and follow safety protocols, including proper use of PPE and adherence to safety checklists
Perform visual and quality inspections of products during handling to maintain standards
Maintain organization and cleanliness in distribution areas, including sweeping, restocking supplies, and disposing of waste
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives, such as suggesting workflow optimizations or safety enhancements
Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and complete all required documentation accurately and on time
Support production teams by ensuring the availability of necessary supplies and materials for operations
Collaborate with team members and departments to address shipment priorities and resolve issues

Required

High School Diploma or Equivalent
Willing and able to learn and master new concepts across departments
Strong communication, collaboration, and critical thinking skills
Understanding of basic technical math and troubleshooting principles
Must be able to successfully complete Clorox Fork Truck Certification as outlined by the site Fork Truck Certification Policy
