Project and Race Support Engineer Intern
Hendrick Motorsports is a leading NASCAR Motorsports operation seeking a highly motivated engineering student or recent graduate for the role of Project and Race Support Engineer Intern. The intern will assist race engineers with various tasks and support project management efforts while developing analytical and organizational skills in a fast-paced environment.

Collaborate with the Project Manager to plan and execute projects as needed
Track and report project progress
Perform and assist in data collection, spreadsheet creation, data analysis, and reporting
Create basic tools to support race day activities
Support race teams through reports, data analytics, and other tasks before, during, and after races
Assist with pre-event, event, and post-event reports
Support race day team activities

Enrolled in a 4-year program pursuing an Engineering related degree or currently possess an engineering or technical-related degree
Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0
Must be at least a junior or third-year student in the degree program being pursued
Basic knowledge of managing large datasets and quickly prototyping solutions
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and database management
Basic knowledge of analytical tools and programming skills
Duration: 5 – 12 months
Work Schedule: Weekdays from 7:00 am – 4:00 pm typically, with weekend support during practice, qualifying and race events
Ability to interact and engage well with others
Ability to work under pressure
