Adecco is seeking a Quality Engineer / CMM Programmer responsible for AS9100-compliant inspection programming, metrology execution, audit support, and corrective action management in an aerospace CNC machine shop. The role involves programming and running CMM inspections, developing CMM programs, creating inspection plans, and supporting quality system requirements.

Responsibilities

Program and run CMM inspections; perform CMM setup and fixture alignment as required

Develop CMM programs (OpenDMIS preferred) to support production and FAI inspection requirements

Generate AS9102 First Article Inspection packages and maintain related documentation

Create and maintain inspection plans, methods, and measurement strategies for machined components

Support AS9100 quality system requirements, including document control and record retention

Lead and support MRB activities including disposition, documentation, and containment actions

Perform root cause investigations and implement corrective actions (RCCA), including verification of effectiveness

Support internal and external audits, including customer, registrar, and special process/supplier audits as applicable

Maintain calibration processes and measurement equipment control

Perform gage/tool R&R studies and support measurement system validation

Support PFMEA/APQP activities as needed to improve process capability and reduce nonconformance

Execute and document inspection and metrology activities, including optional 3D scanning workflows where applicable

Required

Aerospace CNC machine shop quality engineering experience

AS9100 experience

CMM operation, setup, and programming experience (OpenDMIS preferred)

AS9102 First Article Inspection (FAI) experience

MRB process experience

Internal and external audit experience

Measurement system analysis experience (gage/tool R&R)

Calibration program experience

Ability to create inspection plans

Engineering or related degree

AS13100 experience (aero engine standards)

PFMEA experience

APQP experience

NADCAP audit/certification experience in a machine shop environment

3D scanning experience (Creaform/Geomagic preferred)
