Responsibilities

Create and revise electrical drawings, including one-lines, three-lines, schematics, and wiring diagrams, using AutoCAD

Design low-voltage and medium-voltage (5 kV–38 kV) power distribution systems

Develop accurate Bills of Materials (BOMs) and enter configuration data into the manufacturing database

Review customer specifications and incorporate requirements into complete engineered drawing packages

Support production teams during assembly and wiring of switchgear and distribution equipment by providing engineering clarification

Modify and resubmit engineering packages based on customer review comments

Ensure designs comply with NEC, NESC, IEEE, ANSI, UL, and internal engineering standards

Assist field teams with redlines, as-built drawings, and design questions during installation and commissioning

Qualification

Required

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE)

Experience in medium-voltage power distribution, utility systems, electrical equipment design, or related engineering roles

Strong knowledge of medium-voltage switchgear, MCCs, breakers, relays, and transformers

Understanding of protection and control fundamentals

Familiarity with NEC, NESC, IEEE, ANSI, and UL standards

Proficiency in AutoCAD; experience with SolidWorks or other drafting tools is a plus

Ability to interpret complex electrical schematics and equipment requirements
