Responsibilities

Provides direction and support to project teams by translating business capabilities into well-defined
Projects/programs with clear objectives and deliverables
Visualizes and communicates architecture concepts, principles, strategies, and models for programs, initiatives, and domains
Facilitates architecture discussions with cross-functional business sponsors and product lines to ensure alignment
Participates as a member or facilitator in relevant business/IT governance processes
Ensures alignment between architecture projects and standards and related IT projects and plans by working with appropriate IT and business management
Develops recommendations which will improve the business value of IT projects and plans
Sets direction and approves future state architecture standards, guidelines, blueprints, and roadmaps for/across business functions
Drives architecture-related research to further mature architecture standards, guidelines, blueprints, and roadmaps
Directs and approves innovations and/or prototypes based on research and approves recommendations on architecture, tools, methodologies, and/or processes
Facilitates architecture governance and ensures adherence to architecture standards
Obtains buy-in for architecture standards, guidelines, blueprints, and roadmaps from appropriate business and IT leaders
Promotes benefits and value of architecture and architecture management to the business and IT senior management
Provides guidance on strategy and planning in support of overall prioritization and portfolio planning
