Field Technician II and Higher
Park Energy Services, LLC is seeking a Field Technician II to safely set, maintain, repair and operate various types of natural gas compressors. The role involves monitoring equipment, performing maintenance, and ensuring operational efficiency.

Responsibilities
Read gas meters and instrumentation recording the amounts of gas received/delivered/consumed and report any operational, temperature and pressure changes as needed in operating logs
Watch gauges, dials or other indicators to make sure equipment is working properly
Set units and perform start-up procedures on location
Maintain replacement/repair parts for assigned units
Assist with overhaul of engines, compressors and related components
Assist in disassembly and removal of unit from location
Use hand tools to clean, lubricate, adjust equipment, replace filters, gaskets and other items while identifying what kind of maintenance is needed
Use electronic devices for troubleshooting, testing or commissioning equipment
Coordinate and assist with scheduled and unscheduled equipment repair and maintenance
Will have call-out rotation responsibilities and respond to unscheduled service calls
Submit accurate maintenance reports and other necessary paperwork
Maintain a current and valid driver's license

Qualification
Required

Working knowledge of pneumatic and electric starters, electrical systems, fuel systems, cooling systems, lubrication systems, ignition systems and other compression related anatomy
Working knowledge of different types of engines and compressors – operations, maintenance and troubleshooting
Understand the basic operations of production equipment such separators, dehydrators, etc
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and ability to learn and efficiently utilize other software tools and applications that are beneficial to the position
Communicate information effectively with all levels of co-workers by phone, email or in person
Able to work independently or with others
2+ years mechanical experience on engines and/or other mechanical equipment
Preferred
High school diploma or GED is preferred
Prefer experience with modern engines and compressors used in the natural gas industry, including modern electronic engine controls
