Model strong underwriting judgment across all lines of business within a local territory
Support underwriters on complex accounts, pricing decisions, and agency strategies
Clearly communicate the rationale behind recommendations
Partner with underwriting, marketing, and branch leadership on agency planning and performance reviews
Guide underwriters and agents toward annual goals and improved profitability
Manage agency relationships
Develop new partnerships
Address underperforming accounts
Monitor workload and authority levels

Qualification
Required
Bachelor's, preferably in Insurance, Business Administration, or equivalent experience in Insurance
Six or more years of commercial lines underwriting experience
Prior leadership or supervisory experience required
Preferred
CPCU or other underwriting designation
