Rhythm Careers is seeking a Senior Interior Designer with strong experience across luxury hospitality and high-end residential projects to join their New York City–based design studio. The role involves leading projects from concept through completion while collaborating closely with a creative team and ensuring technical rigor and delivery.

Responsibilities

Lead and run hospitality and luxury residential projects across multiple phases
Produce and oversee CD and ID drawing packages
Develop detailed layouts, intricate detailing, and thoughtful space planning
Manage FF&E design, specification, and sourcing, including custom furniture and bespoke elements
Coordinate with consultants, vendors, fabricators, and contractors
Support project schedules, budgets, and internal workflows
Mentor and collaborate with junior team members as needed

Qualification

Luxury hospitality experienceHigh-end residential experienceAutoCAD proficiencyRevit experienceConstruction documentationProject coordination skillsMaterialsTeam collaboration

Required

Senior-level experience in luxury hospitality and/or high-end residential interiors
Strong AutoCAD proficiency; Revit experience is a plus
Proven experience producing construction documentation and interior detailing
Confident project-running and coordination skills
Strong understanding of materials, finishes, and custom fabrication
Ability to work autonomously while contributing to a team-based studio culture
NYC-based and available for an immediate start
