Wireless Engineer
KPG99 INC is seeking a Wireless Engineer (Cellular) to design and build next-generation satellite-to-mobile communication systems. In this role, you will work on advanced wireless technologies and collaborate with a technical team to enhance global connectivity through innovative solutions.
Responsibilities
Design and implement PHY and MAC layer algorithms for satellite communication links
Develop baseband modems using Software Defined Radio (SDR) platforms
Perform DSP development and optimize physical-layer procedures
Evaluate and validate algorithms using simulation and hardware platforms
Build test software and drivers for unit, integration, and system testing
Conduct LTE and 5G link budget analysis between satellites and user equipment (UEs)
Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to benchmark and improve system performance
Qualification
Required
Master's degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
Strong foundation in wireless communications and signal processing, including: Channel estimation & equalization, Signal detection, Channel coding, MIMO
Hands-on experience with SDRs
Solid knowledge of 3GPP standards (LTE & 5G – PHY, MAC, RRC)
Experience with MATLAB, Python, C, or C++
Hands-on lab experience using signal generators, spectrum analyzers, or similar RF equipment
Preferred
Exposure to HDL (SystemVerilog or VHDL) for DSP implementation is a plus
