Responsibilities
Develop and enforce Configuration Management policies aligned with ITIL & COV standards
Own and maintain the CMDB with high accuracy and compliance
Integrate and manage Azure resources within a third-party CMDB
Collaborate with Change, Incident, Problem, and FinOps teams
Define CI identification, control, governance, and reporting standards
Partner with Infrastructure, Network, Security, and Application teams
Monitor, audit, and improve configuration data quality
Establish KPIs and metrics for CMDB health and process maturity
Support IT governance, risk, and compliance initiatives
Qualification
Required
8+ years – Designing & implementing Configuration Management in enterprise environments
8+ years – CMDB implementation with Azure integration (Change & FinOps support)
2+ years – Hands-on experience with Ivanti Neurons for ITSM CMDB
ITIL Foundation Certification (Required)
Strong knowledge of ITIL v3/v4 (Configuration, Change, Incident, Problem)
Excellent analytical, documentation, and stakeholder management skills
Preferred
ITIL Intermediate or Expert certification
Knowledge of COV policies and standards
Experience with automation, discovery tools, and scripting (PowerShell, Python)
Familiarity with Azure, AWS, or GCP environments
Experience supporting audit and compliance frameworks
