Perform high-quality ultrasound exams following VA and ARDMS standards
Prepare, position, and educate patients for safe, accurate, and comfortable exams
Operate ultrasound equipment per manufacturer and VA-approved protocols
Review images for quality and document exams in VA EHR and PACS systems
Maintain clean, organized imaging rooms and collaborate with providers and nursing staff
Support coverage during high-volume periods and urgent requests
Qualification
Required
Graduate of an accredited Radiologic or Sonography program (JRCERT, CAAHEP, or equivalent)
ARDMS certification in Ultrasound/Sonography
Active, unrestricted California license (if required)
3+ years of independent ultrasound experience in a hospital/medical center
Proficiency with PACS, DICOM, and electronic medical record systems
Strong knowledge of patient safety, infection control, and VA protocols
Fluent in English and able to meet VA credentialing and onboarding requirements
