Responsibilities

Lead the Architectural team
Technical project leader
Foster design excellence
Coordination with all disciplines
Follow design guidelines and project criteria
Lead regulatory & code compliance
Manage Project Schedule & Budgets
Drive project collaboration
Initiate & utilize best practices
Support construction administration
Develop architectural designs from the initial concept through final construction documents
Create detailed drawings and specifications using Revit and other design software
Ensure designs comply with local, state, and federal building codes and regulations
Coordinate with clients, engineers, consultants, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and objectives
Conduct site visits to ensure compliance with design specifications and resolve any issues that arise during construction
Execute project timelines, budgets, and resources effectively as generated by the Project Manager
Provide technical support and guidance to project teams throughout all phases of the project
Review and approve construction drawings, specifications, and submittals
Ensure all work is completed to the highest standards of quality and accuracy
Assist the Project Manager as an additional point of contact for clients, ensuring clear and effective communication throughout the project lifecycle
Assist the Project Manager in presenting design concepts and project updates to clients and stakeholders
Address client concerns and provide solutions to any issues that arise
Integrate sustainable design principles into projects to minimize environmental impact
Stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and best practices to ensure innovative design solutions
Participate in professional development and continuing education opportunities to maintain licensure and stay current with industry advancements

Required

Bachelor's or master's degree in architecture from an accredited institution
A minimum of 10 years of professional experience in architectural design and project management
Licensed Architect (RA)
Experience with various types of projects, including public, institutional, civic, education, healthcare, etc
Proficiency in Revit and other architectural design software including Autodesk FormIt
Clear understanding of building codes, regulations, and construction methodologies
Excellent design and visualization skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think creatively
Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), TEAMS and MS Planner (task management)

Preferred

Knowledge of Enterprise Resource Planning software (Deltek, Unanet, etc.)
Knowledge of sustainable design principles and LEED accreditation
