They are offering a Construction Management Internship for the Summer of 2026, where the intern will support the Construction Division with day-to-day tasks and gain exposure to various aspects of construction project management.

Responsibilities
Support Project Managers in the planning and scheduling of project meetings, preparation of project documents, project budget and general project administration
Assist in reviewing, submitting, and processing project submittals
Support Project Managers with the creation and issuance of Purchase Orders, Change Orders and Subcontracts
Process fully executed Purchase Orders and Subcontracts in project folders, CM software, and job start books
Assist in producing accurate quantity takeoffs from plans using On Screen Takeoff and Bluebeam software
Assist in preparing Invitations to Bid (ITB’s), provide drawings, and other supporting documents to suppliers and contractors for bidding purposes
Assist in the review and completion of bid tab reports and recommend contract awarding for materials and services while maintaining accuracy and conformity
Assist in ensuring PO’s and subcontracts are properly executed and that all terms and conditions are met
Coordinate with Project Manager and Accounts Payable for timely processing of invoices and vendor payments
Assist Project Managers with matching invoices to purchase orders and subcontracts to ensure timely payments
Collaborate with Design Manager/Architects and Drafters to understand the full design process for commercial, residential, and fit-out projects
Shadow and collaborate with Superintendents on job sites for commercial, residential, and fit-out projects
Shadow and assist the Site Department with any assigned projects and tasks
Qualification
Required
Must have a valid Driver's License, reliable transportation, and automobile insurance
Must live local and commutable driving distance to the Harrisburg area
Currently pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management or related field
Must have completed at least 2 years of college coursework
Must comprehend basic knowledge of construction principles and processes
Proficient in Microsoft Office programs such as, but no limited to: Excel, Word, Outlook, SharePoint, Teams
Acts as a team player with a positive attitude and willingness to learn
Strong verbal and written communication skills to professionally collaborate with others via email or in person
Must have excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
Preferred
Experience testing or using construction management or takeoff software is welcome but not required
