Senior Account Manager – Freight Brokerage
Confidential company is a Top 50 freight broker, and they are seeking a highly skilled Senior Account Manager to join their Greenwood, Indiana office. This role involves managing and expanding existing accounts while proactively developing new opportunities within the logistics network.

Responsibilities
Full ownership of mid-market and enterprise shipper accounts
End-to-end freight execution with accuracy, urgency, and proactive communication
Daily coordination with customers and carriers to maintain elite service levels
Strategic problem-solving in time-sensitive, high-pressure environments
Farming: deepening existing relationships, expanding wallet share, and maximizing retention
Hunting: uncovering new opportunities, identifying gaps, and driving incremental revenue
Cross-functional partnership with operations and carrier teams to support flawless execution
Qualification
Required
Significant freight brokerage/account management experience
Proven ability to retain, grow, and protect customer accounts
Demonstrated experience developing new business within or beyond an existing book
Strong operational knowledge: pricing, capacity, modes, and market behavior
Ability to manage heavy volume while maintaining accuracy and detail
Exceptional communication, relationship-building, and negotiation skills
