The Integrated Photonics Product Engineer will lead the new product development of TFLN products, collaborating with cross-functional teams and engaging with customers to ensure successful product delivery.

Responsibilities

Lead the end-to-end full-cycle new product development on TFLN platform, delivering packaged photonic TFLN modulators from concept through production
Define & develop product/design requirements and drive the R&D to improve Optical/RF/Electro-optical performance of the products
Work effectively with cross functional teams: design team, fab team, test team, etc. to evaluate design-manufacturing tradeoffs and ensure manufacturability and scalability
Work with vendors & contract manufacturers to evaluate advanced fiber components, high-speed RF components, and advanced packaging services
Lead build, validation, and production test to ensure that products meet or exceed specs for performance and reliability
Lead customer engagement by providing technical support and understanding customer technical needs

Required

Master's or Ph.D.'s degree in a Photonics related field such as Physics, Optics, Engineering
Experience with integrated photonics and radio frequency design and testing
Experience with high-speed electro-optical modulator
Strong written & oral communication skills
Ability to work under time constraints
Desire to deliver innovative products to market
Ability to solve problems in new and/or ambiguous scenarios
