Responsibilities
Managing projects related to the James clinical space optimization
Developing standard workflows and translating construction impact plans for the operations team
Communicating timelines and logistics for the James facilities team for approximately 80 active construction projects
Overseeing and coordinating activities that support the delivery of high-quality patient services and effective hospital operations for all James owned and/or managed facilities
Providing departmental operations support including project/program management oversight, resource planning and development, procurement, organization, process improvement, and policy development
Facilitating communication activities and problem solving, and supporting an environment conducive to effective operations
Interacting with staff, physicians, and administrators/managers to assess environmental issues and maintain quality control
Directing project management, resource planning and development, space requests and assignments, and leading multidisciplinary committee meetings
Responsible for service level agreements between facilities, maintenance, and operational teams to ensure compliance and accountability
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Business or Hospital Administration or related field is required
At least 7 years of experience in healthcare/hospital operations and construction projects is strongly preferred
Position requires leadership ability, excellent interpersonal skills, effective communications skills, and continued professional development
Extensive experience required in the areas of project management, data analysis and reporting, and process evaluation, planning, and improvement
Working knowledge of information systems and computer-based programs including spreadsheets, presentations, databases, word processing, reports, graphics, and web development
Preferred
Master's degree in business or Hospital Administration is preferred
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred
