Vice President – Saas Sales, Higher Education
Emeritus is a company dedicated to making high-quality education accessible and affordable globally, collaborating with top-tier universities. They are seeking a Vice President for Higher Education SaaS to shape and scale a new business, owning the full sales cycle and leading a small team as the business grows.
Responsibilities
Own the full sales cycle — from outreach to multi-year enterprise deals
Build and maintain a 3–4× pipeline with structured ABM plays
Lead 6–12+ month sales cycles with senior university stakeholders
Partner with Product and CS to shape the roadmap and drive expansion
Hire and lead a small AE/AM team as the business scales
Create lighthouse customers and convert wins into strong references
Qualification
Required
8–10 years in enterprise SaaS sales, including 4+ years in Higher Ed (R1/R2/public)
Proven success against $1M–$2M+ ARR quotas
Strong experience with complex procurement, RFP/RFI, and multi-stakeholder deals
Executive presence and exceptional storytelling
Preferred
Bonus: experience with LMS, SIS, analytics, FERPA, WCAG or EdTech ecosystems
